主要研究方向:

1. 二氧化碳的资源化转化与利用;

2. 生物质以及固废资源化转化与利用;

3. 高浓度难降解工业废水的处理及资源化;

4. 光催化制氢;

5. 污染源头控制绿色新技术。

    本着模拟自然、加快地球碳循环的先进理念,在利用水热技术清洁转化废弃物、生物质以及CO2为新生资源和能源的领域进行了大量具有世界先进水平的创新性研究。首次研发成功水热转化秸秆、生活垃圾成乙酸,并应用乙酸产乙酸钙镁环境友好型融雪剂的新技术;开创了废弃物还原水热还原CO2既能解决地球温室效应又积极有效的废物资源化的研究;开创了废弃物还原剂中产氢的研究。研究成果获得了国内外专家的认可与高度评价。Environmental Science and Technology, Green Chemistry, Environmental Since & Technology, Bioresource Technology, International Journal of hydrogen Energy等与资源、能源,化学等相关的高质量国际知名学术杂志上发表200多篇高质量学术论文。国内外专利以及国际专利近30项;参与出版英文专著2部。应邀正编写Spring book 1部“Hydrothermal conversion of biomass”。主持或参加国家科技重大专项 863计划、国家自然科学基金、上海市科委等多项科研项目,成果多次在重大国际学术会议报告以及中央电视台新闻频道专题进行报道。

Carbon Cycle Technology Research Group

Main research areas:  

• CO2 conversion and utilization

• Conversion of biomass and organic wastes into value-added chemicals and fuels

• High-concentration and hard-degradation organic wastewater treatment and resource reuse

• Photocatalytic hydrogen production technology

• Pollution control and green technology

Based on improving global carbon cycle by mimicking nature, our research interest  mainly focus on hydrothermal conversion of biomass, organic waste and CO2 into chemicals and fuels, and other related green technologies for clean energy. These researches mainly include: 1) Hydrothermal conversion of biomass/organic waste into value-added chemicals such as acetic acid, formic acid and lactic acid; 2) The hydrothermal reduction of CO2 into value-added chemicals; 3) Hydrogen production from biomass/waste. We have authored more than 200 scientific publications in the journals with high impact in the fields of energy, environment, and chemical engineering, such as Environmental Science and Technology, Scientific Reports, Green Chemistry, Environmental Science & Technology, Chem comm, Bioresource Technology, AIChE, International Journal of hydrogen Energy, and also authorized about 30 patents and 5 books/ book chapters. We has hosted more than 20 projects, including National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 plan), the National Natural Science Foundation, scientific research project of Shanghai, etc. Moreover, we have more than 20 plenary//keynote/invited presentations in various international conference/symptoms. Our research has also been interviewed by CCTV and Asahi News, Japan.
