研究方向

环境生物学、昆虫分子遗传学

主要从事环境生物学,昆虫分子遗传学的研究。以昆虫基因组信息为基础,以基因组编辑和遗传转化技术为平台在黑水虻资源化利用有机废弃物、昆虫性别决定机理、昆虫种群的遗传调控和等领域开展基础与应用基础研究。2008年获得国家杰出青年基金,第十四届全国人大代表。

研究成果

    昆虫是自然界种类最多的动物类群。昆虫正在快速的成为工业生产的新型对象,为国家生产出饲料蛋白、蚕丝蛋白、医药原料、优质油脂和生物有机肥等急需的原料。为解决规模化生产蚕丝蛋白、处理有机废弃物以生产饲料蛋白和媒介传病害虫以及农业病虫害无公害防治等重大问题,我们以昆虫基因组信息为基础,以基因组编辑和遗传转化技术为平台在昆虫性别决定机理、昆虫种群的遗传调控和昆虫与病原微生物互作方面开展基础与应用基础研究。为家蚕规模化生产提供抗病、优良丝质品种,为处理有机废弃物创制高效的黑水虻新品种以及与此配套的规模化生产流程。
