一直致力于城乡饮用水安全保障研究特别是输配过程水质转化原理与厂—网控制技术研究,注重理论与工程结合。近年来,针对管网锰/铝/铁转化与沉积、铁/铅腐蚀等引发的饮用水安全问题(如锰致“黄水”问题),开展了大量工作,提出了水源监测预警、水厂深度除锰控铝、管网消毒/水力调控等厂—网协同的饮用水安全保障方法技术,成果实际应用于北京、深圳、珠海等地供水工程,取得经济和社会效益。
