Research Interests

Lei Yu, Tenured Track Assistant Professor and Master's Supervisor. He graduated with a Ph.D. from Sun Yat-sen University in 2022 and conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2022 to 2024. His research mainly focuses on applying transient absorption spectroscopy techniques in water pollution control, environmental photochemistry, and radical chemistry. He has published over 50 SCI papers in top journals in the environmental field, including Environmental Science & Technology, with several works selected as ESI hot papers and highly cited papers. He has led projects such as the National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents and the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund. He has received awards such as the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from Sun Yat-sen University and the Outstanding Award of the Organo Scholarship. He also serves as a member of the International Water Association Young Water Professionals Committee (IWA-YWP China).
