Research Interests

  1. Investigating the environmental speciation, transport, bioavailability, and toxicity of trace metals and emerging contaminants (micro/nanoplastics, engineered nanoparticles).
  2. Applying multi-omics tools to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of nanomaterial toxicity and translate these insights into substance risk assessment frameworks.
  3. Developing AI-based predictive models to simulate the environmental fate, behavior, and long-term effects of chemicals and materials.
  4. Advancing nano-enabled agricultural strategies to improve crop production and remediate contaminated soils.
  5. Conducting lifecycle assessments (LCA) and sustainability analyses of chemicals and processes, integrating environmental, economic, and social dimensions from design through remediation.
