Dr. Jiahui Shao is a tenured Full Professor in School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). She received her B.S. and M.S. from East China University of Science and Technology, and Ph.D. from Clarkson University. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Delaware and the Pennsylvania State University. She joined SJTU in 2004 and was a visiting research professor at National University of Singapore from 2015.8 to 2015.11. Dr. Shao’s research interests include membrane and membrane technology, advanced water treatment and resources utilization technologies. As a PI and co-PI, Dr. Shao has been in charge of projects supported by National Science Foundation of China, National Key R&D Program of China, Major Science and Technology Program for Water Pollution Control and Treatment, the National Research Foundation of Singapore and other funding agencies. She has published more than 120 peer-reviewed papers and one book, and has been authorized 13 Chinese patents.
